For too long, taking a card meant renting a machine, signing a contract and paying fees you couldn’t see. The smallest merchants — the ones with the least time and the tightest margins — got the worst deal of all.
We think that’s backwards. The phone in your apron pocket is more capable than the card terminals that came before it. It should be able to run your whole shop.
So we built Tapp: a full point of sale, bookings system and online shop that lives on the phone you already own. One clear monthly plan, no surprises — so the smallest business can stand on the same footing as the biggest.

We’ve stood behind the counter too
We started Tapp because we’ve lived the other side of it — the morning rush, the market in the rain, and the sinking feeling of a card machine that won’t connect while a queue builds.
Every small merchant we met was paying too much for tools that were too complicated, sold by companies that treated them as a “starter” account waiting to become something bigger. We didn’t think that was fair.
Our promise is simple: no hardware you don’t need, no fees you can’t see, and tools that respect your time. If you can take an order on your phone, you can run Tapp.
